Abbott Nutrition has been and continues to be dedicated to providing educational opportunities for health care professionals.

Since 1979, Abbott Nutrition has supported "Hot Topics in Neonatology." This is a meeting organized by Dr. Jerry Lucey for neonatologists in the United States and internationally where topics at the cutting edge of neonatology are discussed.

Abbott Nutrition has also supported the Seminar for Neonatal and Perinatal Fellows, which is attended by approximately fifty fellows from institutions throughout the United States and Canada. An advisory panel of outstanding neonatologists and perinatologists select topics and speakers for each seminar.

We are also proud to support the Perinatal Section of the American Academy of Pediatrics in a variety of ways, including flagship support for the Apgar Award, the most prestigious award in neonatology, as well as support for newsletters and meetings.
